Alpha® Professional Tools® has re-designed its successful Guide Rail System to be more easily utilized and transported! The ultimate accessory for the AWS-110 or AWS-125 Stone Cutters is made of high quality cast aluminum and is designed to be used with the Alpha® Universal Carriage Assembly.
The sturdy straight edges are available in three (4) lengths and may be purchased individually or as a kit.

The Alpha® Guide Rail System is an accessory to the Alpha® Edgecrafter and AWS-110/AWS-125 Wet Stone Cutter. It is a collection of high quality straight edges constructed of sturdy cast aluminum.
The Guide Rail System can be set up in minutes and fully supports the weight of the Edgecrafter and AWS-110/AWS-125 allowing for machine quality cuts and polish without the need for expensive machinery.
When used with the AWS-110 or AWS-125, the Carriage Assembly allows the stone cutter to traverse the guide rail and perform a cut that is straight and true, time after time.

Additionally, the system was designed to allow for an easy transition from cutting to polishing without the need to re-position the rail.
After cutting, remove the AWS Stone Cutter and Carriage Assembly and attach the Edgecrafter and its Carriage Assembly.The Alpha® Edgecrafter with Carriage Assembly is designed to fit the Guide Rail System in the same manner as the AWS Stone Cutter.
The guide rail carries the weight of the Edgecrafter and provides stability, allowing for a high quality machined finish. Whether straight polishing a square or beveled edge, the quality of the finish far surpasses that which can be accomplished by any hand operation and is comparable to those achieved with expensive automated edge polishing machines.To dramatically increase the quality of your work, acquire all three: the Alpha® Edgecrafter, the AWS-110 or AWS-125 Wet Stone Cutters and the Alpha® Guide Rail System.
The Guide Rail System is available in sizes 4' (1.2m) for working with short pieces and vanity tops, 6' and 7' (2.1m) for intermediate lengths and 12' (3m) for long countertops or conference tables. May be purchased individually or as a set of 3.
